02 / Campaign tracking

UTM builder & validator.

Give every campaign link a clear source. Build a tagged URL without opening its destination.

Private by design

Your campaign details

* Required
Start with https:// or http://. Existing query parameters are preserved.
Where traffic comes from: google, newsletter.
How it arrives: cpc, email, organic_social.
Use one consistent name for the same campaign.
A keyword or audience identifier.
Distinguish creatives or link placements.

Your URL is never visited, uploaded, or saved.

Build your link to check its format.

    This checks the link’s format and naming. It cannot confirm that the destination exists or that your analytics setup will record the visit.

    Consistent names, cleaner reports

    Pick a convention. Keep it.

    • Use consistent lowercase names, such as google and cpc.
    • Prefer hyphens or underscores over spaces.
    • Do not include personal information, passwords, or secrets in campaign links.
    • Existing source, medium, campaign, term, and content tags are replaced by your inputs.

    A worked example

    One campaign, a clear source

    For a Google paid-search campaign promoting fall services, use source google, medium cpc, and campaign fall-services.

    utm_source=google
    utm_medium=cpc
    utm_campaign=fall-services
